Surprisingly heavyThis is a very pretty, fun mat. It does what it needs to do - keeps you comfortable on the floor, and keeps you from slipping when your hands, feet, or knees are supporting you on the mat. Also the mat doesn t slip around on the floor it stays put. It is thin enough for successful balance poses as well. The one negative is that it is really heavy compared to all other yoga mats i have owned. Bu I like it enough to overlook that fact.
