Considering how often you pull out your putter, shouldn t you use the one uniquely engineered to give you the best chance to make each and every putt
Customer reviews
Well designed and madeThe Joey is a well designed and made putter. I am a high handicapper and putting is one of the weakest aspects of my game. In the past I ve used Ping Anser 45* hangers and face balanced mallets. I try to putt straight back and straight through with a very light grip. I tend to hit it all over the face. I putt better with high MOI putters but at address 71* lie angle I found the COM so far behind the face it causes a minute torque which tends to rotate the face open. To compensate I have to grip a little tighter and it was distracting. Like pushing a shopping cart with a bad wheel, I can make it go straight, but it takes extra effort. Axis1 has solved this problem. Because it doesn t have an imbalance it hangs completely neutral in whatever position I put it in. It s one less distraction so I can concentrate on my stroke. The head weighs 350 g, but it feels very light in my hands compared to a 350 g mallet. It comes with a Winn AVS grip which I find too thin but that s easily changed.
