What is the advantage of this Cleveland Launcher Fairway Wood?
The Launcher Fairway Woods boasts low spin, a mid-trajectory and high MOI, making it the longest and straightest Launcher that Cleveland Golf has ever produced
Tradition and technology combine in the Fairway Launcher to produce the longest and straightest Launcher that Cleveland Golf has ever produced. Boasting low spin, a mid-trajectory, and high Moment of Inertia MOI of more than 3,000, the Launcher Fairway Wood offers a long, straight shot even on mis-hits with an 11 percent larger face. The longer, lighter Fujikura Fit-On Flightspeed shafts also lead to higher swing speeds and additional yardage to make the new Launcher an ideal distance wood. The Fairway Launcher has three distinct 3-wood lofts. With low 13 degree , standard 15 degree , and high 17 degree trajectory options, players can pick the best loft to maximize distance and accuracy for their unique swing speed and launch conditions. Customer reviewsThe view from a real golfer.
I skeptically bought a 15 degree 3 wood version of the Cleveland launcher as an off the tee club in tight situations. I am a high handicap golfer, and my driver sprays all over or I spray my driver all over . The club feels great off the tee, and since it was my new driver I didn t want to dirty it on off the ground shots, instead opting for my old banged up 3 wood from a previous set. One of the biggest things I noticed was my mishits were much less punishing than with a conventional 3 wood.
