Customer reviewsRight on target
This driver was a perfect match for me. I am only 5 7 and can t really hit the ball 300... Or didn t think so until I bought the TL 310. Now I am putting drives in the fairway more consistently at 250 to 265 yards with the occasional summer time roll to 300 yards. My recent previous drivers were a Taylor Made 09 Burner and the Cleveland XL 270. They were fine drivers but I felt like I just needed to swing something a bit more substantial or with a deeper club face. I did a lot of research I always do so I am rarely disappointed and typically give high ratings as a result . The 310 was the answer for me.. Now I have a more consistent launch angle i.e. higher more distance, and greatly reduced my tendency to hit a pull hook. I can also shape a draw or a fade with much more control as well. Keep in mind that this is a 440 cc club head so it isn t as large and or thought to be as forgiving as the maximum 460 cc volume drivers allowed by the USGA rules. However, I think the more concentrated sweet spot and deeper club face is a better combination of power and accuracy for me. FYI... The 310 has a unique and great sound when you hit it... kind of a old aluminum sort of ping . But don t let the sound deter you I found it to be a great club and a very rewarding sound. My last few rounds I have hit 12 of 14 fairways each round and not been more than a few steps into the rough on my errant shots. Great club.
