Jhoppen: I would buy again

From the pics on Amazon, these shoes look stylish. They are black, which I wanted, but they are not plain. And fortunately Columbia didn t put a giant logo on these shoes. There is a logo of their name on side of shoes, but it s small enough to where it doesn t bother me at all. I was though concerned that they didn t come in a wide size which I usually get when buying shoes . I had bought another pair of Columbia s about 15 years ago, they are snow boots. They are bigger and taller than these and super warm. I use to shovel snow or go out when a lot of snow is outside. They are still in brand new condition. So I know Columbia makes good quality shoes, so I took the risk of these new shoes being too narrow and to my surprise, from the first time that I put them on, they fit perfectly. They are warm, but not too warm it s January in Chicago right now and I wear these to work in an office and are very stylish. They are not too narrow for my feet, which I have experience with other shoes even other Columbia shoes that I have tried on at the Columbia store at the outlet mall . The only negative that I can comment on is that the heel feel a little uneven at times. Not sure why, maybe the heel portion soles are more soft than normal or maybe its the design of the treads. It s really not that big of a deal, it could also be due to how I walk. Oh and one other thing, my wife pointed this out to me right away when I showed her my new shoes, these shoes are very light, almost like runners shoes. I would definitely buy these shoes again.
