I m in love with this yoga mat I m not a beginner in yoga but I think to use this mat to reinforce my hand and foot placement for triangle postures, and everything else. It s a great mat to guide you in your practice. The only thing is if you use in a regular vinyasa flow, for example, and you came into warrior 1 or 2 the foot placement may get a little confusing since let s your right foot is forward and left is back you have to align your right heel to your left arch. So the mat may not seem practical in that instance since the foot placements are either on the left or on the right and you have to shift or move or back leg to align with the front leg. So that why I suggest using it as a guide when practicing flows. But it s definitely useful when you want to spend time practicing postures and reinforcing foot and hand placement. I m probably not making sense I m trying to explain it the best that I can.
