Meal Prep Genie: Well made and very sticky - even for sweaty Bikram yoga

I ve been eyeing another alignment mat that is nearly 3x the price of this one, but couldn t justify the spend. This mat is awesome First of all, it seems to be very well made. It s actually the heaviest yoga mat I ve ever had - weighing in at around 6 pounds Yes, it s THAT heavy. The top layer is super sticky. I didn t slip at all last night in my Bikram class - and I did the entire standing series without a towel in place. At no point did the sweat make the mat slippery. The alignment lines are awesome - they especially helped my triangle pose. One note You can t just wipe this mat dry, you need to hang it - which can be tricky because it s so heavy - I had to hang it over the shower curtain rod. It s too early to tell how durable this mat is, but for now, I m happy with the purchase
