I have two large dogs, one of whom has arthritis in most of her joints. Waling on wood floors is very scary for her. I am able with this product to create pathways for my team throughout the house that look really nice but not obtrusive with this matting. This is a perfect solution for the tracking and trails they create. No more nail marks, my arthritic dod moves comfortably, and the mat really does look sharp I ordered black to place on medium brown wood floors in house with cream walls . Also, the mat is very nice, it lays well, does not slip, and so far seems to be cleanable and even vacuumable if I go from end to end. Worth every cent. I like having on wood floors myself feels better when walking about. Being able to custom cut fit this mat is wonderful for large open areas of the house. Doors open and close over it smoothly and the ends do not roll up and trip up either my dogs or me. Was really glad to find this product.
